Road to Parán
Multisensory Exhibition
Road to Parán is a collaborative arts project led by blind artist Tony Sarre and filmmaker Lincoln MacKinnon. The project follows a journey through Peru gathering photography, sound, interviews and tactile material for an immersive exhibition.
Travelling from the Amazon through the Andes to Parán, a village with a high incidence of vision impairment, the project explores blindness, creativity and connection. The resulting work combines photography, tactile works and soundscapes to create an accessible multi-sensory exhibition for blind, low vision and sighted audiences.
